If you’re always lamenting how you can’t go overseas to catch wonderful musicals, fret no more! You can now catch Madagascar The Musical live in Malaysia together with International DreamWorks since its acclaimed UK Tour! Based on the popular DreamWorks animated motion picture, Madagascar the Musical will be making its appearance this 5-8 December 2019. ONLY 4 days!
The story of the musical follows Alex the Lion as the main attraction at New York’s Central Park Zoo. He and his friends eventually got curious on what’s out there and decides to escape the zoo and into the city that takes them on a wild adventure to King Julien’s Madagascar.
The musical will be held at KLCC Plenary Hall, and expect to delve into a colourful jungle world of the island of Madagascar with props and background depicting the animation.
TheQuahs had the priviledge to meet and greet with some of the casts of Madagascar the Musical, such as Joseph Connor (Alex the Lion), Posi Morakinyo (Marty the Zebra), Monique Ashe-Palmer (Kowalski the Penguin), Anna Barnes (Private the Penguin), and Victoria Boden (Rico the Penguin), as well as Nathan Brine the Show Producer of the musical, and Dato’ Grace Lee, MD of Milestone Production who was the key person to persuade this troupe to put Malaysia as part of their tour stops.
Produced in the UK with collaboration with DreamWorks, Madagascar the Musical will feature iconic songs including ‘I Like to Move It, Move It’, and other new songs that will keep you moving to the beat.
Tickets are still available although not a lot! You can get 25% off for Premium, VIP, Cat A, and Cat B sears. On top of that, Madagascar ticket holders get to enjoy 10% off their total bill when they dine at Mama San, KLCC.
